As humans, we wait a lot. Grocery store lines, traffic, DMV. This kind of waiting can't really be helped. The kind of waiting that scares me most doesn't happen in a stuffy government building. The kind of waiting that scares me most is the waiting-on-my-life-to-be-what-I-want-it-to-be waiting.

My roomate Destiny found this painting in the alley and it is now in our Tipi:

Yes. I have a tipi at my house and yes, that is how you spell tipi.

Yes. I have a tipi at my house and yes, that is how you spell tipi.

I equally hate and love that painting. It is confronting. I know what I want and somehow I think positive thinking and time is going to be enough. I have some say in my dreams coming true. In fact, I have a big say in the matter.

In the short run, it is much easier to wait. It might feel less anxiety provoking in the moment. But in the long run, I'm missing out on my bigger life. I'm making a new choice now. And I can't wait to see what happens.
